The event was also attended by the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Uzbekistan to the Sultanate of Oman Anvar Abdukhalimov.
Uzbekistan CCI provided information on the economic development of the country in 2019, the main indicators of various sectors of the economy, as well as the ongoing economic reforms in the country.
At the same time, the Omani company was offered to actively participate in implementation of promising investment projects in the country.
In turn, representatives of the Omani company expressed interest in enhancing cooperation in the energy, mining and construction industries, in processing agricultural products, as well as in tourism industry and expressed a desire to establish close business contacts with the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Uzbekistan.
Following the meeting, the parties agreed to exchange information and organize a business trip for the delegation of the Omani company to Uzbekistan in September this year.
