Takehiko Nakao highly appreciated the achieved level of cooperation between Uzbekistan and ADB.
The parties emphasized mutual interest in further expanding cooperation within the framework of the implementation of socio-economic reforms initiated by President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev in accordance with the new Country Partnership Strategy (CPS) for 2019-2023, approved on June 25 this year.
Issues of promoting priority transport and communication projects in Central Asia, including the construction of China – Kyrgyzstan – Uzbekistan railway and its importance in ensuring sustainable development in the region, were discussed.
