Issues of strengthening Uzbekistan – Bahrain relations bоth bilaterally and within the UN, the Organization of Islamic Cooperation and other international structures were discussed at the meeting.
The parties expressed interest in holding the next round of inter-MFA political consultations, activating the mechanisms to build up trade-economic and investment ties, establishing cooperation between research institutions of the two countries.
Improving the normative-legal base conducive to the development of comprehensive cooperation between Uzbekistan and Bahrain was recognized as relevant.
Certain issues of the international and regional agenda were also considered at the meeting.
