According to Uzbekistan MFA, during the conversation, the parties discussed the efforts of Uzbekistan and Japan to resolve the Afghan crisis, priority areas of cooperation in the joint implementation of various projects in Afghanistan.
The Japanese side highly appreciated Uzbekistan’s efforts on launching the peaceful political process in Afghanistan, large-scale economic projects carried out in the country and fully supported the opinion on the importance of expanding actions of the international community in the reconstruction of socio-economic infrastructure of Afghanistan.
