The main issue of the meeting was practical aspects of the upcoming negotiation process on the draft Enhanced Partnership and Cooperation Agreement between Uzbekistan and the European Union.
According to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Luc Devigne, appointed Chief negotiator for Enhanced Partnership and Cooperation Agreement, confirmed interest of the European Union in active joint activity on a new document, which should replace the current one and become legal basis for further development of cooperation.
Head of the EU delegation, Ambassador Eduards Stiprais attended the negotiations.
