At the meeting, the state and prospects of relations between Uzbekistan and Germany, primarily between the Oliy Majlis and Bundestag, cooperation issues in the field of legislative support for further development of political, trade-economic, investment, cultural-humanitarian ties were discussed.
It was noted that bоth sides are interested in successful holding of Uzbekistan – Germany summit in 2019, which will raise the comprehensive dialogue between Uzbekistan and Germany to a qualitatively new level.
The sides also exchanged views on other issues on the bilateral agenda.
Germany’s Ambassador Gunter Overfeld attended the meeting.
