Accepting his credentials, the Minister congratulated the Ambassador on the beginning of his mission to Uzbekistan and wished him success in a responsible post.
According to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan, prospects of Uzbekistan – Uruguay cooperation were considered at the meeting.
Despite the geographical remoteness of Uzbekistan and Uruguay from each other, as noted, today there are real opportunities to intensify cooperation in some areas.
At the meeting, views were exchanged on interaction within international organizations.
