Ziyo Art Uzbek School started operating in New York on September 19, 2020. The opening ceremony was organized by the Consulate General of Uzbekistan in New York together with Mahalla USA Diaspora Organization, Uzbekistan MFA reports.
Classes will be held on the weekends in Uzbek language by qualified teachers selected on a competitive basis, using special educational materials received from Uzbekistan.
The Consulate General donated books and fiction to the library of Uzbek School on behalf of the Government of Uzbekistan.
